আমি দ্বীপ সরকার (Dweep Sarkar)। শব্দের ভেতরই আমার বসবাস—কখনো কবিতায়, কখনো নীরব ভাবনায়। আমার লেখালেখির জগৎ গড়ে উঠেছে অনুভূতির গভীরতা থেকে, যেখানে বাস্তবতা ও কল্পনা মিলেমিশে নতুন অর্থ তৈরি করে। তখন আমার বয়স সবে ১৩-১৪ বছর। ক্লাস সিক্স সেভেন। তবে সেগুলো লেখাজোখামাত্র,কালের গর্ভের হারিয়ে গেছে সব। কতক লেখা হয়েছে,কতক লেখা হয়ে ওঠেনি। লিখেছি,ছিঁড়ে ফেলেছি। তবে এর রেশ থেকে যায় জীবন থেকে জীবনে,সময় থেকে আরেক সময়ে। যত দিন গড়িয়েছে,ততই নতুন লেগেছে সবকিছু।
আমি বিশ্বাস করি, সাহিত্য কেবল বিনোদনের জন্য নয়; এটি মানুষের চেতনা জাগিয়ে তোলার এক শক্তিশালী মাধ্যম।
আমার লেখায় সময়, সমাজ, ভালোবাসা, বেদনা ও অস্তিত্বের প্রশ্ন বারবার ফিরে আনার চেষ্টা করি। আমি চেষ্টা করি সহজ ভাষায় জটিল অনুভূতি প্রকাশ করতে, যাতে পাঠক নিজের ভেতরের গল্পকে আমার শব্দের মাঝে খুঁজে পায়। আমার লক্ষ্য শুধু লেখা নয়, বরং পাঠকের মনে একটি প্রতিধ্বনি তৈরি করা—যা তাকে ভাবাবে, স্পর্শ করবে এবং নতুনভাবে দেখতে শেখাবে। লেখালেখি আমার কাছে আত্মপ্রকাশের সবচেয়ে গভীর মাধ্যম। আমি বিশ্বাস করি, প্রতিটি শব্দের ভেতর একটি করে পৃথিবী লুকিয়ে আছে—আর সেই পৃথিবীগুলোকে আবিষ্কার করাই আমার স্বপ্ন।

প্রকৃত নাম শহিদুর রহমান। এটাই সার্টিফিকেট নাম। তবে দ্বীপ সরকার ছদ্ম নামেই লিখি। এই ছদ্ম নামের আরেকট ইতিহাস আছে। আমি যখন প্রথম কুয়াশা বের করি এবং সেটা প্রথম প্রিন্ট সংখ্যা ২০১১ সালে। সেখানে সম্পাদক হিসেবে নাম ছিলো শহিদ পারভিন। জন্ম,১মার্চ ১৯৮১ইং। মুসলিম পরিবারে। পিতা,মৃত হাবিবুর রহমান,মাতা, আছিয়া বিবি। চার ভাই বোনের মধ্যে আমি ৮ নম্বর।

I am Dweep Sarkar. I live within words—sometimes in poetry, sometimes in silent contemplation. My world of writing has grown from the depth of emotion, where reality and imagination blend to create new meanings. I began writing at the age of 13–14, when I was in class six or seven. Those early attempts were merely scribbles, most of which have been lost in the passage of time. Some writings were completed, some remained unfinished. I wrote, I tore them apart. Yet their traces linger—from life to life, from one moment to another. As time has passed, everything has continued to feel new to me.
I believe literature is not merely for entertainment; it is a powerful medium to awaken human consciousness. In my writing, I try to bring back themes of time, society, love, pain, and existential questions. I aim to express complex emotions in simple language so that readers can find their own stories within my words. My goal is not just to write, but to create a resonance in the reader’s mind—something that makes them think, feel, and see differently. Writing, for me, is the deepest form of self-expression. I believe that within every word lies a world, and my dream is to discover those worlds.

Real name: Shohidur Rahman (official/certificate name). However, I write under the pen name Dweep Sarkar. This pen name also has its other history. When I first published Kuasha and released its first print issue in 2011, the editor’s name appeared as Shohid Parvin. Date of birth: March 1, 1981. Born into a Muslim family. Father: Late Habibur Rahman, Mother: Asiia Bibi, I am the 8th among four siblings.
